BASE Milano and British Council are looking for one UK—based emerging designer and/or creative that will have the opportunity to participate to Milano Design Week 2025.

Each year, BASE welcomes and promotes projects from designers worldwide, as well as collaborations with schools, universities, and institutions.
During Design Week, BASE hosts a special program called Temporary Home, where 5 designers from around the world share their research in a unique residency at casaBASE ↗.

Thanks to the partnership with the British Council, one UK––based emerging designer and / or creative will have the opportunity to join the Temporary Home project during Milan Design Week 2025 (April 7th–13th), receiving:

↘ A special exhibition space for Design Week
↘ A bedroom from April 3rd–14th
↘ Technical and design assistance from the BASE team throughout the residency
↘ A communication plan and visibility

As well as a budget of €5,100.00, covering:

↘ Travel costs
↘ Designer project fee
↘ Per diems during residency
↘ Materials budget
