GROUND HALL
The Ground Hall is BASE’s main event space: multifunctional, versatile and directly connected to the Courtyard and Bistrò. Ideal for talks, screenings, performances, dinners and immersive installations, it is one of Milan’s most recognisable cultural spaces, designed to host high-impact events.

ROOM 1400
Room 1400 is the BASE space where the venue’s former industrial character is most evident, featuring an overhead crane, views onto the Courtyard and the option of a private entrance. Suitable for exhibitions, live music, screenings, photo and video shoots, conferences and gala dinners, with bar service available on request.

ROOM 2100
Room 2100 is BASE’s largest and most customisable space, and a key venue for Milan’s Design Weeks. With movable walls that allow the space to be reconfigured, multiple entrances and maximum flexibility, it is ideal for exhibitions, photo and video shoots, conferences, workshops, presentations and special dinners.
Room 2100 can also be divided to create Room 2100/2, a more intimate and versatile setting ideal for exhibitions, presentations and exclusive events, with access via an external staircase and a dedicated entrance on Via Tortona 54.

COURTYARD + TERRACE
The BASE Courtyard is the heart of the former Ansaldo complex: tables, benches and a stage surrounding a large tree, together with a summer bar, create a unique atmosphere. In winter, it retains its distinctive character, transforming into a customisable space for aperitifs, corporate lunches and live events.

The BASE Rooftop Terrace is one of the venue’s most distinctive spaces: a rooftop garden overlooking the Milan skyline. Ideal for dinners, aperitifs, private parties, photo and video shoots and intimate concerts. With a dedicated bar and catering service, it offers a private entrance and an unforgettable atmosphere.

- Capacity: 70 people (subject to setup)
yesROOM
An intimate space, ideal for talks, workshops and presentations for up to 80 people. YesRoom also serves as a meeting place for the local community and a space for artistic residencies, while for corporate events it becomes an intimate and inspiring setting designed around people.

A dedicated workspace for meetings and training activities, equipped with white school desks on wheels and front-facing seating.

Anfiteatro
Located within the musicROOMS, the Anfiteatro is a versatile venue, ideal for small talks, workshops and activities focused on music and cultural innovation.

Located within the musicROOMS, La Capsula is BASE’s dedicated video and music space. A fully equipped recording studio with acoustically treated walls and professional audio equipment.
bistroBASE
Overlooking the Ground Hall, Bistrò is BASE’s most convivial space. Open to the public with a bar and study area, it can also be reserved exclusively for aperitifs, lunches, presentations or informal moments supporting larger events.
casaBASE
A mix between a design hostel and a creative residence, casaBASE is a unique space that can become a set for photo and video shoots or small site-specific events. A place where hospitality and creativity come together, giving every project a distinctive character.
No, the on-site parking area is reserved exclusively for people with disabilities, upon request.
For all other guests, we recommend using the public parking facilities nearby or reaching BASE by public transport. We are just a short walk from the M2 Porta Genova and M4 California metro stations, as well as tram and bus lines 14, 68 and 90/91.
