From September 10th to December 2nd BASE lands on FAROUT: performances, installations, participatory practices, concerts, immersive experiences and international artists.
Three months of events inside and outside BASE. Inspired by Hello Darkness, the curatorial theme of our annual program.
An invitation to linger in the dark—not to seek answers, but to shift perspective.
A collective descent into the shadows of the present to inhabit uncertainty, find new forms of nocturnal resistance, and turn the fear of the dark upside down.
A radical exercise in vision: learning to see where light seems absent, igniting unexpected imaginaries for dark times.

FAROUT LIVE ARTS FESTIVAL 2026 /

CAVALCAVIA
Milan becomes an open field in constant evolution, where art is an occasion for encounter and proximity is the first gesture toward imagining new alliances.
Between BASE and the city: for this edition too, FAROUT extends into the urban fabric with site-specific projects that cross Milan and its neighborhoods – from Giambellino to Barona, from Porta Genova to areas in transformation – rewriting the relationship between art and public space.
FAROUT’s city-wide activities are part of the CAVALCAVIA project, realized with the support of the Municipality of Milan as part of Milano è Viva nei quartieri.
