Making friends through books. Books Friends Forever: two days of meetups, book signings, workshops, and literary speed dates.

BookCity is coming to BASE! From November 16 to 17, 2024, this literary festival is all about friendship. Titled BFF – Books Friends Forever, it highlights the theme of creative collaboration, fitting into BookCity’s broader celebration of literature and culture. Visitors can dive into book presentations, workshops, discussions, and performances celebrating the bonds of friendship and creativity.

BASE will transform into a welcoming space for literature lovers and creatives, featuring local and international authors, cultural figures, and interactive activities that explore narratives of friendship, love, and artistic expression.

DAY 1: November 16

15:00 – #talk: Comics Creation Talk with famous comic artists.

BookCity Milano , founded in 2012 by key cultural foundations, is an annual literary event celebrating books, reading, and culture across the city. It features a wide range of literary genres and topics, hosting both renowned authors and emerging talents. The event is free and accessible to everyone, fostering a collective experience of cultural participation. Taking place in various venues like museums, libraries, and cafés, BookCity promotes reflection on contemporary, historical, and artistic issues, aiming to make literature a central part of Milan’s identity.
