Starting in March, BASE will become a center for menstrual health. It will host the Menstrual Health and Cyclicality Help Desk, created in collaboration with the Eva in Rosso association. The project was born to create a welcoming and non-judgmental listening space, where dialogue about the cycle can be normalized and a conscious relationship with one’s body can be promoted.
The menstrual cycle is a natural biological process, yet it is still too often surrounded by taboos and misinformation. BASE and Eva in Rosso intend to address this need for clarity by offering a holistic and cross-disciplinary approach: the help desk is not just a clinical space, but a place to explore how lifestyle, nutrition, and physical activity can positively influence global well-being. Often, a single consultation is enough to change perspective and stop experiencing cyclicality as a burden.
Welcoming and supporting you will be Valentina Lucia Fontana, menstrual educator and president of Eva in Rosso, and Sofia Paravati, a counselor specializing in empowerment and cyclicality. Together with them, you can delve into practical topics—such as choosing the menstrual products best suited to your needs—and find answers regarding every stage of your life, fertile or otherwise: from menarche to menopause, from managing cycle disorders to contraception, as well as sexuality and postpartum.
