Realpolitik 2018 — 2023, the photographic project of criticism and satirical reflection on the iconography of propaganda and contemporary Italian political communication, opens at Contemporary Cluster on December 21st, at 6PM.
A renewed exhibition project of Fine-Art photography that focuses on the strength of printed photography as a means of documentary and artistic research. The many images selected, among the most iconic of the project, will place the viewer in front of the photograph used not only as a means of documentation of the present but also as a critical and vivifying tool.

Realpolitik has been at BASE last summer:
Luca Santese and Marco P. Valli, active in the last decade in the panorama of contemporary photography with projects such as Found Photos in Detroit (Arcara/Santese) and Bakeca (Adamo/Valli), are co-authors of Realpolitik, recent photographic project of criticism and satirical reflection on the iconography of propaganda and contemporary Italian political communication.
Since 2018 the authors have been working on the construction of a systematic and authorial documentation through a series of independent publications in real time on the main events and protagonists of the Italian political panorama.
