UNDER30

We called it UNDER30,
and it’s the side of BASE dedicated to whom in the cultural world, is not taken in consideration and is constantly underestimated, undervalued and underrated. Always, under.

In other words, younger people.
And that’s absurd, isn’t it? Maybe this time we can step aside and let you take the stage.

DISCLAIMER IN BRIEF: if you are under 30 years old this is the place for you
and we can promise you that the only cringe-worthy thing you’ll read will be the word ‘young’ above.

We imagined BASE ten years from now.
We saw you there.

You can participate to sottospecie
a training designed by BASE staff for the new generation of culture workers.

You will get to know what lies behind the regeneration of a space and its day-to-day management,
how the conception and organisation of events works,
through communication and fundraising strategies, budgets that don’t add up
and bonds that are formed.
And it’s free.

And ends with a (paid) internship.

Come and make NOISE with Röyksopp, the Norwegian duo that made electronic history. A unique mix of analogue synthesisers and…

So… what can you do at BASE?

Design with us, participate in the construction of a cultural programme at Open Casello, pitch concerts, exhibitions, talks, workshops, shows, ideas, participate in our projects, be a jury for a contemporary art festival, train to become a cultural worker, meet designers at Design Week, come and see a contemporary art and performance festival, listen to great music, take courses with artists, be part of an editorial team…

Everything.

We can meet here, at BASE

In Ground Hall, if you don’t know where to study or work. Totally free, accessible, with utilities, services and Wi-Fi… and everything we do one step away from you.

In YesROOM, where we can think of events, talks, show, ideas.

and outside of BASE

Discover Open Casello: an old casello daziario in Piazzale Cantore with a program that only awaits to be taken by the hand by someone who is not a Millenial.

We can build together a cultural programme

With opportunities to form alongside artists, an editorial team, theatre collectives, musicians, cultural workers.

So... is this getting serious?
