The Plantslator, inspired by the desire to communicate with a special hill, translates plant signals into sound, revealing unique patterns and opening new perspectives on nature management. It aims to enhance appreciation of nature’s beauty and strengthen our connection with it. The installation at BASE Milano embodies spatial justice, unity, and solidarity by creating a natural environment within an architectural space using plants and bio-matter. Visitors can listen to local plants through headphones, converting bio-electricity into sound and symphonies, symbolizing spatial justice and the state of nature. The project aims to increase awareness of the interconnectedness of all living beings and promote harmony between humans and the environment.
