Being at BASE during Design Week means truly being together: for 9 days, from April 6 to 14.

Immerse yourself in the Design Week at BASE and the We Will Design –– Making Kin project, featuring exhibitions, open studio residencies, a schedule of events and moments of sharing.
On the BASE Terrace – a cultural center (and so much more) located at Via Bergognone 34 in Milan. From April 6 to 14, during Design Week, right in the heart of the Tortona district.

For The Glitch Camp we’ve reserved 20 spots for students between 18 and 30 to make Milan more accessible to young people during the Fuorisalone week.
You’ll sleep in a two-person tent. If you’d like to share it with a specific person, you can include their name in the registration form (but keep in mind! They will also need to fill out the form).
If you’re coming solo, we’ll pair you with someone, and you’ll share the tent with a person of the same gender. You’ll also have access to bathrooms, showers, a bar, security services, and a welcome kit. 😊
The Glitch Camp
9 days of stay and a Public Program, Designing Togetherness, created in collaboration with IED: workshops, wellness activities, moments of conviviality, and practice exchanges, designed by the Master of Arts at IED and BASE Milano, with the participation of the Francesco Morelli Foundation.
For this new edition of The Glitch Camp, BASE is partnering with The Glitch Camp, the free urban camping format launched last year by IED, which hosts international students in Milan during Design Week, with the goal of making the city more accessible to people under 30 during the Salone del Mobile week.

A collective experiment of coexistence launched in 2024 in collaboration with the design and research agency Parasite 2.0.
A real campsite, a meeting place that combines the energy of protest moments in large urban landscapes with the soft power of counterculture.
