Postnatural Remains is a multimedia installation investigating the ecological impact of illegal waste disposal in southern Italy. Through video works, sculptural elements and an image archive, the project examines how discarded materials affect plants, pollinators and habitats, proposing new ways to rethink waste as a potential agent of non-toxic, healthy coexistence.

It is an invitation to recognize the abyss — political, ecological, aesthetic — we’re living in, not as a place of fear, but as a space of regeneration, resistance, and imagination. Darkness here is not absence, but a fertile condition that embraces invisible gestures, marginalized knowledge, and luminous forms of resistance.
