by TwisT Community Swing Tuesday

Swing Tuesday is an evening dedicated to swing music and dancing, where the audience gets to decide what goes on the playlist. At the entrance, everyone receives three little fruit-shaped beads, known as “fruttini”, to vote for their favourite styles: Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Blues, Rockabilly and Shag/Balboa. The votes shape the evening’s playlist, with more time dedicated to the most popular styles.

From the Roaring Twenties to the Fabulous Fifties, Swing Tuesday brings together different sounds and rhythms, inviting everyone onto the dance floor, regardless of age or experience. Whether you’ve been dancing for years or are trying it for the first time, it’s a chance to meet, share music and get carried away by the swing beat.
