A guiding voice and a sound composition gradually lead from wakefulness into sleep, creating the conditions to explore lucid dreaming.
During the night, music, sounds and brief appearances by the performer and musicians move through the space discreetly, interweaving with the sleep of those taking part. Small shifts in perception open a simple question: Am I dreaming?
Suspended between sleep and wakefulness, the performance transforms rest into a shared experience, where listening, imagination and presence become a collective practice.
Collettivo EFFE Sognare, forse dormire — a sleeping performance
Sognare, forse dormire — a sleeping performance is a collective experience that accompanies the audience through the night.
Collettivo EFFE was founded in Turin in 2020 and works at the intersection of applied technologies and performative languages. The collective’s research — led by Giulia Odetto, Antonio Careddu and Camilla Soave — revolves around image-based dramaturgy, the centrality of the human body and its relationship with the other-than-self. Key works include Onirica (Venice Biennale 2020), Il mio corpo è come un monte (Romaeuropa Festival 2022) and Wonderland (2024). Since 2025, officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture as an Under-35 production company.
