Between stadium chants, match footage and protest imagery, eight performers move through a space where ultras culture, politics and social media interweave. Abstract gestures alternate with movements drawn from urban culture, while sudden silences give way to explosions of images and sounds.
Swifties and ultras, flares, mascots, stadium anthems and icons of mass culture overlap in a continuous flow of references. Through dance, video and music, NON + ULTRAS offers a portrait of a society traversed by images, collective identities and deep polarisation.

In NON + ULTRAS, Moritz Ostruschnjak takes the imaginary of football supporters as a starting point to explore the boundary between belonging, protest and spectacle.
Bio
Moritz Ostruschnjak is a choreographer and visual artist. His work investigates the transformations of physical and social experience in the age of digitalisation, building pieces as hyperlink spaces where heterogeneous elements connect following the principle of pick & mix and cut & paste, in a reality where the boundaries between politics, entertainment and populism become increasingly indistinct. Active in the graffiti writer scene, he developed his interest in contemporary dance through breakdancing. Since 2013 he has worked as a freelance choreographer in Munich, creating among others BOIDS, UNSTERN, AUTOPLAY, YESTER:NOW, TERMINAL BEACH, Rabbit Hole (2023) and, more recently, NON + ULTRAS (2025). Three of his productions have been invited to the Tanzplattform Deutschland. He was selected among the Aerowaves Twenty21 Artists and in 2020 received the City of Munich’s Dance Prize. He is a member of the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts and Tanztendenz München e.V.
