Four sessions aimed at transcending the boundaries of belonging, exploring the relationship between identity and language: Linguamadre is a multilingual reading and writing workshop, conceived by Flavia Neri.
Co-designed and deconstructed, the workshop does not impose rigid boundaries and consists of four sessions, divided as follows: in the first part of each meeting, each participant will share something to read in their language or dialect—poems, songs, novels, screenplays, stories (as long as the text doesn’t exceed three minutes!). In the second part of each meeting, through semi-guided exercises, participants will have the opportunity to engage in writing by hybridizing languages, dialects, and identities.
The outcomes of the workshop will be presented through an optional performance at the Corte dei Miracoli cultural center in Milan.
