RIDERS! is an itinerant performance on wheels, conceived by the trans-Mediterranean collective Corps Citoyen in collaboration with the community of Milanese riders. The event is an act of participatory art and advocacy that turns the critical mass into a device for the hyper-visualization of the exploitation and precarity experienced by food delivery couriers.
It’s an urban, political, and sonic journey through the streets of Milan, reclaiming space, voice, and dignity for those who resist between deliveries every day. The audience, equipped with headphones and smartphones, will follow the riders’ real routes, listening to their stories and questioning the rhythms and constraints of contemporary labor.
The route winds through the streets of Milan, converging at a shared and symbolic arrival point: Piazza Duomo. Although the experience concludes with a collective moment, it is also designed to be enjoyed individually.
