Embroidery has long been a graceful and elegant art form of the feminine

Goga Mason, through her workshops, invites participants to reclaim embroidery, transforming this graceful and discreet art into a sincere and spontaneous means of expression. Rules have long imposed a sense of embarrassment—a pressure to live up to the embroidery of our grandmothers or to what has been defined as “proper” stitching. Goga will show you that we all know how to embroider—because we’ve always done it, it’s in our genes. Now, we are free to imagine and stitch whatever we want.

No special skills are required, and all materials will be provided during the workshop.

Goga Mason works in animated drawing and embroidery. She graduated from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and continued her studies at ERG (École de Recherche Graphique) in Brussels and in Moscow with animator Yura Boguslavsky.

So... is this getting serious?
