WeWorld Festival Talk: Genitori (im)perfetti: tra solitudine, supporto e nuove prospettive

talk

Being a parent today means facing complex challenges: the weight of isolation, the lack of adequate resources, and the difficulty of balancing family and professional life. In this panel, Valentina Culotta from WeWorld will explore the crucial role of support networks and parental leave in building the “village” it takes to raise children, and how the increasing burden on families—combined with an ever-weakening system of social services—intensifies their struggle. Pedagogist Erica Petrucciani will offer practical tools to help parents survive (and maybe even enjoy) the journey, while Diego di Franco will share his experience of parenting with a perspective that seeks to overturn the cultural perception of caregiving work, which in Italy still falls almost exclusively on mothers.

Speakers:
ANNA ACQUISTAPACE – Podcaster of Grembo and Nidi Fioriti
DIEGO DI FRANCO – Popularizer, writer, and content creator
VALENTINA CULOTTA – Pedagogist and case manager at WeWorld

Moderator: Anna Acquistapace, podcaster of Grembo and Nidi Fioriti
