This theatre is a morgue. Through the repetition and variation of the bow, the diptych schau/stellen makes gesture the foundation of a choreographic writing that calls into question the scenic space as the fulcrum of an asymmetrical relation of power and interdependence between vision and representation, performer and audience.

Bio
Vincent Giampino is a choreography-maker and performer based in Rome. His research revolves around the body and gesture as political, aesthetic and symbolic matter. Trained in Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, he graduated with a B.A. in choreography from the SNDO in Amsterdam. In 2017 he was a finalist with Oneka Von Schrader at the Prix Jardin d’Europe at Impulstanz.
