In Tiger’s Nap, Edoardo Mozzanega invites the audience to take part in a collective nap outdoors. Lying on a large fur rug and wearing sleeping masks shaped like a tiger, participants are guided through a sensory meditation that weaves together sound, imagination and storytelling.
Traditionally associated with strength and ferocity, the tiger takes on an unexpected meaning here: it becomes the guardian of rest, a symbol of the possibility of slowing down and suspending the compulsion to do. As they surrender to sleep, participants become part of the performance themselves: a pack of feline-humanoids resting in public space, transforming an intimate gesture into a shared experience and a surprising image for those passing through.
