The Tuesday evening workshops in Burò are back!
They will take place on Tuesdays from 6pm to 7pm in the common area of Burò and are open to all of you who are part of the BASE community.
For the first appointment we have a special guest: Carlotta Ferrari of Paper&People with a workshop on the world of paper and creativity.
We will also celebrate together with a small aperitif, we can’t wait!
PAPER AS A CONCEPT
The material paper is a skilful communicator able to attract the user’s attention and involve several senses at the same time through its own characteristics. Indeed, being first and foremost material, paper can also be used to represent and inspire the story, the concept or the content of the printed matter itself. For example, Dutch designer Irma Boom used a material similar to baking paper to create a beautiful cookbook for the Rijksmuseum, thus allowing the book to communicate its content through the paper itself. A paper, which becomes the spokesperson for a concept in a printed project, allows communication to be elevated, creating a message rich in meaning and highlighting a great communicative depth.
