We Will Design
We Will Design is a large experimental lab that annually welcomes and promotes projects by designers from around the world, including schools, universities, international institutions, and young students.
FAROUT Live Arts Festival
Performances, installations, public art interventions, dance, and theater; as well as concerts, parties, and conversations, all seeking new perspectives. FAROUT is BASE’s festival dedicated to contemporary creation. It’s the farthest planet from the Sun, reaching Earth after each Fall Equinox.
RESIDENZE
Through an annual residency program, we offer space, resources, and support to emerging artists, with a focus on queer, racialized, and disabled communities, providing a protected space for research and production.
In––Between
Creating dialogue between people and practices that don’t usually intersect. For us, culture means connection. Installations offer experiences blending visual arts, performance, design, and music, creating a shared space for reflection. New perspectives emerge in this “in-between” space..
RUMORE
Let yourself get lost in the sounds, pulled away from the everyday. RUMORE is BASE Milano’s music showcase, where live performances and sonic experimentation take center stage. A mix of artists push the boundaries of electronic, jazz, hip hop, and afrobeat, weaving together unexpected experiences. It’s not just about the music — it’s a narrative, a journey that reflects BASE’s vision of building community, breaking barriers, and exploring new horizons through sound.

The Art Chapter
The Art Chapter is a fair dedicated to experimentation and editorial research in contemporary art, created in 2017 through the synergy between BASE Milano and Studio Boîte. A collective narrative where publishing becomes a platform for research and artistic experimentation.
