Le Cirque Astéroïde is a performance of 30 minutes in a truck trailer.
It reveals 5 artists with word acts, drums, brass and dances for a constellation of festivities.
“During the spring 2020 lockdown, I found myself opposite to a construction site, where workers were loading material in a truck which huge red tarp opened like a stage curtain. This was the trigger to write Le cirque astéroïde. After this period, I wanted to perform in the street, and the semi-trailer became for me a stage landscape, a place of mobile poetry.”
Le cirque astéroïde is part of a series of several choreographic pieces that explore the imaginary of festivity, the entertainment dynamics and theatrical tricks.
