Iman is a teenager who, in a moment of playfulness at school, tells her classmates she slept with the boy of her dreams. What starts as a harmless lie slowly spirals out of control, as Iman finds herself caught between social media and swirling rumors. Gossip spreads throughout the school just as preparations for the year-end trip are underway, exposing deep-rooted power dynamics anchored in patriarchy. A film about the mysteries of adolescence—its lightness and its inevitable collision with the harshness of contemporary reality. At the same time, it offers a subtle counterpoint through the lens of the teachers’ lounge, portraying with clarity the contradictions of a fleeting age, veiled in fragility and melancholy, and constantly at risk of rushed judgments and social hypocrisy.
