This installation engages in critical discourse on the environmental and social repercussions. The selected case study, Dodola, a master’s project by the Pjorkkala group, exemplifies how the acquired knowledge from the academic process can accumulate into a top-tier response to pressing sustainability issues.

The Academy of Fine Arts and Design is the oldest educational and research institution in Slovenia in the field of art and design, and is a member of the University of Ljubljana. Over the years, advanced programs in the fields of art and design have been developed at the Academy, which are committed to social and environmental justice and are designed with an emphasis on individual work with students.
Pjorkkala is a group of masters from the Industrial Design program at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana. Within three years of its establishment, they have firmly established themselves as designers committed to sustainability with an experimental approach. Their achievements have been recognized with international awards.
