We Will Design is a large experimental laboratory produced by BASE Milano.
Every year BASE welcomes and promotes projects by designers from all over the world, schools, universities, international institutions and young students.
At We Will Design practices and experiences of design become a tool to read – and sometimes solve – the many contradictions of our present.

For Design Week 2025,
we seek projects working on kinship with humans, non humans and more than humans.

Making kin is an invitation to rethink how we relate across generations and genders.
We aim to explore alliances that are no longer rooted in familial or speciesist ties, but in conscious choices, shared affinities, common interests, and mutual sensitivities.

We aspire to design kinships founded on care and the celebration
of differences—intergenerational and intersectional networks capable
of challenging traditional hierarchies and oppressions.
