Who are the cyberwitches of the twenty-first century?

(On spells and cyberwitches, Arianna Forte)

Let me introduce you to a coven of beloved witches, lovers, and friends, speaking in tongues made of taboo and tenderness, of shame unlearned and margins reclaimed, of the erotic as knowledge and the esoteric as home.

le ambigue

We are the witches of obscenity and desire.
There is no rebellion without the power of orgasmic fluid, blood, semen, saliva, thick liquid dripping from our thighs with noisy frequencies as in a dystopian journey where you end up between our teeth.
-on le ambigue

Self-exploration becomes an act of defiance forging a witch coven preaching consensual pleasure in the performance on/scenity by le ambigue. Performed (the premiere) at the Taboo-Transgression-Transcendence (TTT) conference in 2025/Ljubljana – a celebration of synthetic desires, a provocative ceremony that interweaves sex, magic and biology. Our cult challenges the boundaries between technology and flesh, between impurity and power, between eroticism and revolution

anguilla anguilla

is a spell, a ritual initiation chant – the exchange of liquids and money, the flow of liquid ingested into pleasure poison-potion and then discharged. Zoe Williams & HYDRA  (in the film-trailer) plays with notions of service, intimacy and consumption – soon the full version.

re-c(O)unting I. self-exploring bodies, stories, laboratories

re-c(O)unting I. self-exploring bodies, stories, laboratories – is an artistic-scientific research as well a film and a performance that encompasses the stories to be retold, the cunts to be acknowledged, computation as a field to be reclaimed, and the altered states to be experienced. Sentient Clit: The Pussification of Biotech

Whitefeather Hunter & Jiabao Li investigate the potential of lab-grown clitorises created by 3D bio-printing stem cells derived from menstrual fluid to challenge male-dominated narratives in tech spaces, advocating for a feminist, non-binary methodology focused on pleasure and eroticism beyond reproductive function. Sentient Clit: The Pussification of Biotech. Is it a sentient being? Can it give consent?

Congregation of Mysteries

Amulets, talismans and ex-votos are each ancient technologies for protection and the fulfilment of wishes. Magia, Medicina e Biohacking

Magic and medicine: two terms that, in the contemporary world, evoke antithetical scenarios, but which we can bring into dialogue as soon as we take a historical look at their relationship. What form should a political claim on health take, straddling the struggle for access to health and criticism of the epistemological and clinical systems of biomedicine? Magia, Medicina e Biohacking: teorie e pratiche per l’autogestione dei corpi – online module at the Master di Studi e Politiche di Genere, Uni Roma3

The Bioart Coven

The Bioart Coven reclaims the witch as central to biotech’s historical and symbolic lineage – we, an international collective of over 75 artists, makers, hackers, scientists, witches, feminists, and open-minded thinkers are united by a shared fascination with the generative overlap between witchcraft and technofeminism. A project initiated with the online course of Whitefeather Hunter at the School of Machines Making and Make-Believe
