The projects featured in Design Week 2025 rethink interpersonal relationships beyond traditional ties, proposing new forms of kinship—bonds, connections—based on conscious choices and shared affinities, through:
→ Exhibit: projects by academies and emerging designers
→ Temporary Home: five projects by designers-in-residence
→ A large-scale site-specific installation by Matilde Cassani
But also parties, talks, dialogues, and cross-pollinations.
The goal? To build intergenerational and intersectional alliances that challenge hierarchies and oppression, fostering creative acts of resistance. Moving beyond the logic of purely biological kinship to embrace care and the recognition of differences, creating spaces for chosen bonds and co-creation.
