From the collaboration between photographer Maria Elisa Ferraris of the CESURA collective and sound artist Giacomo Ceschi, whose practice explores the possibilities of technology in dialogue with natural elements, comes an audiovisual installation, intended to be a first performative encounter between photography and sound.
The work presented is the result of a dialogue starting with Aqua, Maria Elisa’s first photobook published by CESURA PUBLISH in November 2024, in which the sea, sometimes terrifying, sometimes peaceful, is explored for its deep symbolic value and thus becomes an inner landscape.
This will be followed by a talk with the authors moderated by Silvia Barbisan of CESURA PUBLISH publishing house.
