Despite the fact that these are very different ecosystem and social areas, in fact, the issues affecting them are critically interconnected: the urgency of the event accelerates and compresses the decision-making, social, and environmental review processes of the more than 100 planned works, often without any popular consultation or long-term strategic and systemic planning. Giochi preziosi is a visual analysis of the criticalities of the MICO2026 Olympic model with a special focus on local contexts and urban and mountain mobilizations that claim democratic access to material, social, cultural resources and basic services.
