Every year The Art Chapter comes at BASE bringing up a fresh wave of creativity.
A weekend dedicated to those who live and breathe printed matter, featuring artists, publishers, and creatives from all over the world. Workshops, talks, performances, and music for a continuous celebration of the artist book.
For three days, BASE has become a hub for anyone who sees the book as a space for total expression: from independent publishing to artist books, experimental print to small self-produced gems.
Since 2017, BASE Milano and Studio Boîte ↗ have been curating a unique experience for those who see the book as a work of art. A place to exchange ideas, contacts, and inspiration; an open ecosystem where professionals and emerging talents meet and make connections.
The Art Chapter is not just a fair but a living laboratory, where publishing becomes a platform for research. Illustration, design, and typography merge in an open space and create new identities. No conventions, just ideas looking for room to grow.
