Lucia Di Pietro is a choreographer who combines performance, relational art and site-specific interventions in her artistic practice. Her works investigate the ambiguity between reality and fiction, creating fantastic situations and ephemeral experiences that involve both the audience and her self. At BASE she carries out research on ‘The Disappearing Conference’, with which she explores the dimension of lecture performance, using humour and parody to challenge everyday conventions and reflect on human ambitions of immortality and centrality in the universe.
