Emke Idema is a Dutch artist who works at the intersection of play, social sciences and visual arts and is a pioneer in the field of interactive theatre. She has created a series of life-size board games for adults. Her research lands at BASE with a ‘School of Unlived Worlds’, a nomadic ‘school’ that appears in the context of festivals, museums, theatres and organisations.
