PORNODRAMAis an intimate dance made up of bodies and words. The bodies tell in the first person about their experiences and perceptions in relation to each other, emptiness, space, silence and the nearby voice, while the words, ephemeral like the dance, invite the audience to relive the physical experience in a personal way. Two performers describe what their bodies experience on stage, creating a personal connection with the audience. Viewers, through headphones or by approaching the performers, can become part of the experience, as when you place your ear on a person’s chest to hear their heartbeat or bring your nose close to their skin to smell them. A LIS interpreter will also make the performance accessible to deaf people, integrating organically into the choreographic score.
The work mixes dance and dramaturgy, weaving a text into a dance of relationships. A plurality of voices offers different points of view on the stage. PORNODRAMA is a site-specific performance for non-theater spaces, designed to engage audiences through themes of encounters and accessibility. The methodology and approach allow access to visually impaired, blind and deaf people. The audience is invited to actively experience the space, walking through it and experiencing it. They can listen with headphones without seeing, see without hearing, or indulge in both sound and visual scores. Voices in the headphones will guide the viewer’s gaze.
