28 May is the International Menstrual Hygiene Day.
An awareness-raising event that every year seeks to break the silence and promote sexual and reproductive health rights for all menstruating people (that is about 50% of the world’s population).
On this occasion, thanks to the collaboration with This Unique, free pads were once again available in the bathrooms of Burò and musicROOMS for all menstruating people.
A shared initiative to raise awareness of the importance of menstrual health and hygiene, to make it accessible to everyone and to end any form of taboo related to this topic.
This Unique’s mission goes beyond pads or tampons. Their commitment aims to break down the stigma and shame surrounding menstruation and raise awareness to improve people’s lives.
