With her first solo exhibition, Promise Edoziogor opens the doors to her expressive world with Con il cuore in mano \u2014 an intimate and visceral journey through painting, drawing, and animation. The show features a selection of visual works ranging from oil paintings and graphite drawings to animated pieces accompanied by music, through which the artist explores themes of love, acceptance, and reconnection with her Nigerian roots.<\/p>\n
Each work serves as a narrative fragment, weaving together personal stories and collective resonances. The title Con il cuore in mano (“With My Heart in My Hand”) reflects the open, confessional nature of Edoziogor\u2019s artistic research \u2014 a visual diary that becomes a shared space.<\/p>\n
The cinema project, conceived and written by Ivana Musio and Eleonora Rossi for the Liceo Classico Manzoni, aims to educate high school students in the development of ideas for screenwriting and film criticism.<\/p>\n
ARTIST
\nPromise Edoziogor is an emerging artist of Nigerian descent, born and raised in Perugia, Italy. She currently lives in Bologna, where she is attending the third year of the DAMS degree program at the University of Bologna. From her earliest years she has found in drawing her preferred channel of expression, a path later deepened through her studies at the art high school.
