TALAMO<\/strong><\/a> is an installation performance in a constant state of becoming, conceived by <\/span>Lemonot<\/span> Studio and activated performatively by <\/span>arisandmartha<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/a> in four distinct moments during its showcase. Animate and inanimate elements <\/span>constitute<\/span> the work’s habitable yet otherworldly surfaces, mutually mobilizing its ever-evolving landscape. Human bodies <\/span>seemingly carved<\/span> out from the chunky body of the installation intertwine amongst themselves and thread their way within, through and around the structure.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

TALAMO is a ge<\/span>nerator of sharp shapes, extruded volumes, bold gestures and uncanny imagery which <\/span>constitute<\/span> a unique field of potential <\/span><\/span>transformations<\/span><\/span>. The audience experiences the installation performance in \u2018frozen\u2019 instances in its fluid motion; four spatial configurations, one for each of its four performative activations. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

TALAMO is an <\/span>entity in itself, a<\/span> vessel with a clear external membrane, yet its boundaries are porous and permeable, allowing for its insides to be exposed, its mechanism and functions to be revealed. <\/span><\/span>Through peculiar light & sound-<\/span>scapes<\/span> the proposed mundane rituals become, within the geometries of <\/span>TALAMO,\u00a0 surreal<\/span> yet recognizabl<\/span>e and familiar.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
