A neighbourhood is made up of citizens, third sector organisations, and companies that produce and invest in the area. Do these three worlds ever really meet?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Locale, Circolare is a project by BASE Milano in collaboration with FROM<\/span><\/a> that aims to create a circular economy model to favour the regeneration of the local area, starting from an understanding of the needs of the neighbourhoods in the south-west of Milan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/div>\n\n\n\n

How does it work? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project has two phases:
1) LOCAL – there will be two distinct paths: urban imagination workshops aimed at citizenship (organisations, groups of citizens, collectives\u2026) and a training programme aimed at companies that want to invest resources in their local area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) CIRCULAR – at this stage, territorial organisations and companies meet and cross-fertilise to co-design ideas for artistic-creative projects to be implemented in the neighbourhood, starting from the questions and proposals that arise from the urban imagination workshops. The ideas will be collected in the Atlas of Wishes, which will be presented at a party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    We break the ice, we do it through an artistic practice: we recommend comfortable shoes and clothes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      TRAJECTORIES OF DESIRE – LINDA DI PIETRO
      What drives cultural action? What is a broken dream? From this constellation, we will find a common objective to enhance, cross-fertilise, put initiatives and projects into circulation and develop collective artistic action.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      1. May 2nd – Thursday H18.30 – 21
        FROM CONCEPT TO PROJECT – CORPS CITOYENS
        We have an idea, now what? We put it down on paper (or screen): this is the phase of building ideas and revising, revising, revising. Let’s make it work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        1. May 25th – Sunday H10 – 13
          CO-DESIGN WORKSHOP – MERAKI
          This is the co-design meeting between the companies and the territory: we will shape the project idea with the outside (but not too much) view of the companies involved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

          1. Last week of June \/ first week of June
            LET’S CELEBRATE
            The best way to celebrate a point of arrival (but not of end), to publicly present the artistic action we will have designed and to expand the network in the territory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

            \u2192 Maggio \u2014 luglio 2024: training (for companies)<\/strong> with FROM<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

            A free capacity building programme on local development<\/strong>, social impact and participatory co-design, to provide tools for companies to strengthen their relationship with their territories and communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              SOCIAL IMPACT WHAT? <\/strong>
              A meeting to understand the importance of local social impact and how companies can collaborate with Third Sector organisations and citizens’ groups. And, why not, take the opportunity to make new acquaintances.

            2. May14th, Tuesday – H15 – 1<\/strong><\/strong>8
              INTERACTING WITH THE TERRITORY: A TOOLKIT
              Okay, but in practical terms how can you create social impact in the territory? An immersion and analysis of the local context to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders. Case studies included for practical learning.
