{"id":19216,"date":"2024-09-18T10:33:48","date_gmt":"2024-09-18T08:33:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/base.milano.it\/?p=19216"},"modified":"2024-09-18T16:42:12","modified_gmt":"2024-09-18T14:42:12","slug":"lemonot-moeca-at-farout-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/base.milano.it\/en\/lemonot-moeca-at-farout-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Lemonot \u2014 MO\u00c9CA at FAROUT 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Mo\u00e9ca is the name that the Venetians gave to the local crab (common crab \u201cCarcinus Mediterraneus\u201d), when it reaches the peak of the moulting phase, with the loss of its armour and before, in a few hours, in contact with brackish or salt water, it rebuilds it .&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">The large metal object designed by Lemonot for &#8220;The Convivial Laboratory&#8221;, during FAROUT, is exactly like this: a space that seems about to transform &#8211; to seize that moment in which disorientation becomes awareness.<br>Apparently rigid, <em>Mo\u00e9ca<\/em> is instead multifaceted: it welcomes, anticipates and adapts &#8211; prefiguring practices of radical conviviality within the spaces of BASE Milano. Built with a series of iron modules, sprawling and tangential, culminating in 14 tilting seats &#8211; it is at the same time table and theatre, stage and <em>platea<\/em>. It can be composed and decomposed into a thousand different configurations: inside <em>Mo\u00e9ca<\/em>, conviviality becomes a tool for imagining and experimenting with new pedagogical mechanisms, in which we learn through alternative ways of being together.
