As a symbol of BASE\u2019s multifaceted spirit, the Ground Hall hosts an installation by Studio Smarin in collaboration with the Institut Fran\u00e7ais Milano: IDIORYTHMIA \u2013 the RE-U construction system.<\/p>\n
It is a reversible and polymorphic furnishing system capable of continuously reconfiguring the space: from an agora to a screening room, from a workspace to a social area, all the way to a stage for performances or simply a place to linger, complete with capsules designed for rest.<\/p>\n

IDIORYTHMIA derives from the Greek idios (own, personal) and rhythmos (rhythm). Thus, this installation creates the possibility of living and working together while maintaining one\u2019s individual rhythm, striking a balance between autonomy and coexistence. A structure that is both temporary and symbolic, placing hospitality at its core.<\/p>\n
