Music bursts into the BASE Milano courtyard with Musicraiser Unplugged Summer and Acoustic Music in the Courtyard.
Every Tuesday from 8.30pm, free entry.
July 4: Persian Pellican
A project in genetically manipulated folk, with Andrea Pulcini blending American songwriting, an overdose of Iranian cinema and Douglas Sirk melodramas, and dreamlike stories of minor daily depravity. Over the last few years he has toured far and wide with his band which has seen him perform at the Liverpool Sound City Festival ’13 and share the stage with Paolo Benvegnù, Rover, Father Murphy, C+C=Maxigross, The Burning Hell, Dawn Landes, Sylvie Lewis, Iosonouncane, honeybird & the birdies.
July 18: Gio Evan
A multifaceted Italian artist: writer and poet, philosopher, comic, performer, singer-songwriter and street artist.
June 25 saw MArteLabel’s release of his first single, Più in Alto, which marks the artist’s recording debut and offers a taste of the upcoming album, out in early 2018.
August 1: Guappecarto’
Emerging in 2004 as street musicians in Perugia, their sound takes its cue from popular tradition while their vibe owes more to the mix of cultures and genres that the band soaked up on their travels through Europe. The streets, the people and the buskers of Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Belgium have all fed into a stylistic mix that flaunts its use of pieces from a wide range of creative outlets: radio, cinema, theatre, the circus. Their latest album, Rockamboles!, came together through a somewhat haphazard process, seizing the opportunity to record in different venues whenever the opportunity presented itself, using whatever means were available on site or were provided by passionate supporters of the project.
