Creative Action / krē-ˈā-tiv ˈak-shən / The ability to carry out a particular action, to reach a pre-established goal, to adopt original solutions in order to bring a project or idea to life. Inventing, giving shape.
How do I turn my idea into a project? How do I raise funds? Who will help me tell my story? What about communications?
The Creative Action workshops at BASE are a place where experts make their knowledge and skills available to dreamers in search of practical skills and a way in. The goal? To put together your own personal tool box, in an environment that fosters exchange and cross-pollination, turbocharges thought, and functions as an incubator for ideas and projects that serve the city and its inhabitants.
The workshops range from design to fundraising, business plans, illustration, film criticism, digital communications, storytelling for marketing and event planning.
