SUMMARY:FAROUT Opening / MANIFESTUS extended party
DESCRIPTION:MANIFESTUS by Jacopo Jenna comes to life as a performance and ends up infecting everything around it. Bodies meet\, move apart\, shift rhythm\, move through the codes of street dance and transform the space into something alive\, in constant motion.\nThen something happens: the performance expands\, the stage opens and the audience enters the flow. \nIt continues with a DJ set by SLY\, a journey through Black and Street sounds where the dancefloor becomes the natural extension of the performance. No boundary between those who watch and those who dance: just a floor to move through together.

SUMMARY:Tiger's Nap
DESCRIPTION:In Tiger’s Nap\, Edoardo Mozzanega invites the audience to take part in a collective nap outdoors. Lying on a large fur rug and wearing sleeping masks shaped like a tiger\, participants are guided through a sensory meditation that weaves together sound\, imagination and storytelling.\nTraditionally associated with strength and ferocity\, the tiger takes on an unexpected meaning here: it becomes the guardian of rest\, a symbol of the possibility of slowing down and suspending the compulsion to do. As they surrender to sleep\, participants become part of the performance themselves: a pack of feline-humanoids resting in public space\, transforming an intimate gesture into a shared experience and a surprising image for those passing through.

SUMMARY:Berika
DESCRIPTION:Queer Deities in Migration weaves together the stories of seven queer migrants with the ancient mythology of the Caucasus. Each journey of migration\, loss and transformation corresponds to a gender-fluid deity\, giving life to a universe where myth and the present meet and rewrite each other.\nAt FAROUT\, the seven deities make their appearance during the journey that leads them to the festival in the mountains of Berlin. Through performance\, costumes\, masks and transformative makeup\, the stage becomes a space of crossing\, where memory\, identity and belonging take shape. A contemporary ritual that celebrates the resilience\, imagination and strength of queer migrant communities.

SUMMARY:BELL END
DESCRIPTION:In BELL END\, Mathilde Carmen Chan Invernon stages an ironic and unflinching dissection of the codes of dominant masculinity. Through body\, voice and sound\, the performers observe\, imitate and distort gestures\, words and attitudes that belong to the imaginary of the connard — a figure as recognisable as it is everyday.\nAwkward postures\, deliberately shapeless costumes and a sound score built from words\, interjections and ventriloquy techniques give life to bodies that are at once comic and unsettling\, invading the space until its power dynamics become visible. A physical and sonic performance that uses laughter to destabilise what often goes unnoticed.

SUMMARY:Prospero
DESCRIPTION:Prospero is a participatory performance-installation that transforms collective construction into an experience of encounter. Inspired by the protagonist of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest — a figure capable of imagining and transforming his own destiny — the work invites the audience to take part in the creation of a large temporary sculpture.\nThrough simple modular elements and accompanied by live music\, participants contribute to shaping a landscape in continuous evolution. Gesture after gesture\, the work grows through collaboration\, transforming the space into a shared place where imagination\, relation and creativity become a collective experience.

SUMMARY:THE FLOOD / LA PIENA
DESCRIPTION:The experience unfolds through walking\, intuitive writing and bodily attention\, in a process that invites participants to observe the river as a presence in transformation and to come into contact with its physical and perceptive qualities.\nThe flood becomes an image that allows us to read the relationship between body and landscape and to encounter water as an element with which to establish a direct relation.\nThrough hydromancy\, water finds a voice and opens new possibilities of dialogue with the world around us.

SUMMARY:Cinema Impero
DESCRIPTION:Cinema Impero takes its name from a cinema built in Asmara in 1937\, during the Fascist regime. From this symbolic place emerges a reflection on the power of images and narratives: cinema\, like artificial intelligence today\, contributes to constructing memory\, imagination and the perception of reality.\nThe performance interweaves materials from the historical archive of the Istituto Luce and the artist’s personal archive. Two voices — one artificial\, one human — guide a meta-narrative in which times\, places and languages overlap.\nConceived for one person at a time\, Cinema Impero takes place inside a black box where cinema\, theatre and artificial intelligence meet. An experience of close listening that brings memory\, history and the present into dialogue.

SUMMARY:Unreal State
DESCRIPTION:Lasting between 60 and 75 minutes and available in English\, Spanish or Italian\, the work is conceived as a journey that can be realised in almost any urban context. As participants move through streets\, buildings and public spaces\, a voice gradually leads them to the discovery of another territory: an unreal state that overlaps with the world we already inhabit. Somewhere between speculative narrative\, urban walk and intimate audio guide\, Unreal State reflects on our relationship with mobile phones: tools that simultaneously connect and isolate us\, orient and monitor us\, offering an apparent freedom of action while helping to determine the conditions of our choices. The performance returns the audience to the city with a renewed gaze\, inviting them to observe the visible and invisible systems that run through it and the new forms of control that characterise our present.
