Signs that come to life, installations that spring into being and inhabit spaces, pieces that tell a story, open-air museums. Chronicling the Navigli, the canals to the south of Milan, through augmented reality is the aim of this 4 week residency based within the creative ecosystem at BASE Milano.
The call is open for artists keen to take part in the residency from ARDA – A Ritmo D’Acque. 8 digital artists (designers, 2D animators, video makers and 3D artists) will be selected to take part in an instructive and creative training course resulting in the production of two multimedia pieces each. The pieces will become part of the open-air artistic itineraries along the South Milan Navigli and tell the story of the area’s historic, territorial and cultural landmarks. These pieces will be produced alongside the installation pieces created by the designers at IDEAS – Bit Factory.
To take part, fill in the application at this link.
